This week's Bold and Full woman is Jane Austen (December 16, 1775 - July 18, 1817).

Jane Austen is one of the greatest writers in English history, her timeless works as popular as ever today. Growing up in a household that stressed education and creativity, Jane spent her life creating the characters and worlds we have all fallen in love with over and over again. She paved her own path in life with her creativity and imagination. Although plagued with health struggles in 1816 at just 41 years old, Jane continued to radiate passion for her work, writing and reworking until she was confined to her bed just months before her death.
