"True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependance upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing.  The greatest blessings of mankind are within us and within our reach.  A wise man is content with his lot, whatever it may be, without wishing for what he has not."- Seneca
We live in a fast paced, self driven world that is full of progress and growth, which can be wonderful...but we walk a fine line of missing many of the simple, every day things that have brought us to where we are.   That have quite literally kept us afloat without even realizing it.
Plus, there is so much power, not only in recognizing all of the things that help to bring us joy..but to take some time and actually feel gratitude for the role that they play in our lives.
"Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy."- Guillaume Apollinaire
We are taking some time this holiday season(and hopefully always) to pause and be present.  To take notice of ALL of the things that help bring joy to our lives before the time just slips by and they continue to go unappreciated.
So, for starters, we are grateful to be here doing what we are doing. We are grateful that there is always room for growth and a million second chances.  We are grateful that life is an evolution and not set in stone.  We are grateful for vulnerability, connection and love.  And most definitely, we are grateful for YOU.  We are grateful that you are here.  We are grateful that we get to serve a community of women who are unique and bold and kind and brave. We are grateful to get to know someone as incredible as you!
