Hello my fashionistas! I've been in a deep cleaning and organizing mood today! I think it is because the sun is finally shining around here, and I have spring fever! So I thought I would share with you a quick tip on how to easily organize your earring collection.

You will need:
  • A picture frame (the size just depends on how many pair of earrings you want to display.)
  • Tulle fabric (tulle is the kind of fabric that tutus are made of.)
  • Hot glue
  • Ribbon (optional)
  • Hook screws (optional)
The assembly is so easy! First you will need to remove the glass from your picture frame. Then, from the back side of the frame you will stretch the tulle across, right where the glass would normally sit inside and hot glue tightly in place around the entire rectangle area. Be careful not to burn yourself, as the tulle is full of tiny holes! Then trim off the excess tulle from the back side. I double layered my tulle, and suggest doing so. You could even triple layer it for more strength. Voila, that's it! As you can see, I used a piece of ribbon to hang my frame with. This is totally optional, because you can hang it just like a normal picture frame. I also screwed hooks in all along the bottom to hang my hoop earrings from. You could also create your display frame the opposite direction that I did (I.E. horizontal instead of vertical) and hang all of your necklaces from the hooks instead.

Ok, let's be honest... I have a TON of earrings crammed into that little display frame! I think I counted 57. It's time for me to get rid of some of the ones I've had forever to make room for new. As you might have guessed, Cents of Style conveniently fuels my earring obsession without breaking the bank. ;)

I have my earring holder hanging behind my bathroom door. It would look cute in a walk in closet, or on a wall in your bedroom as well. The frame I chose is super basic, I made it a couple of years ago. But I'm excited to make a fun new one soon! Even bigger? I think yes. I want to get a frame with scalloped edges, and spray paint it a fun color. I'd love to see the cute things you ladies come up with! Happy organizing and crafting! If you have any questions about making your earring display, leave me a comment and I'll do my best to answer.
