Did you know that when joists (in the floor or ceiling) become weak and are sagging a carpenter will execute a method called," sistering"?? "Sistering" means that they will place a "strong" board one one side of the weak or sagging joist to help strengthen it. If one is not enough, an additional "sister" board will be placed on the opposite side to sandwich the joist in need. Aren't we sistering for each other? Sisters that can swoop in and hold our friends steady when they are "sagging"?! Isn't that what we as women are all about?! Absolutely! And that is why we love this particular graphic...we truly are STRONGER TOGETHER!!
